Staffs/owners are friendly. Guest house was in the middle of the old street so it takes a bit of walking after check-out. Facilities were bare minimum but the basics are there. The bed was the worst thing, it was super hard like 10/10 hardness level. It's akin to sleeping on a plank of wood. We had aches all over our body the next day. Breakfast was a simple sandwich with soybean milk (no sugar added or provided) and there is a toaster for you to toast more breads if you want. Peanut butter and margarine spread is available. Oh and the view at the guets house was bad. Basically the person in the opposite building can look directly at your bed so in the end we left the curtains closed. However, you may go up to the upper floors to have a good view of jiu fen. It will be quite difficult for ladies to take photos with the strong wind though.
